🐾How Our Cats Live 🐾

Our cats enjoy a life that’s as close to a real home as possible:
🏠 In our own home – as part of our cat family.
🏡 In a foster home – as part of their foster family.

❌ They are not kept in cattery-style environments.
❌ They are never confined to cages.

We believe every cat deserves love, comfort, and a sense of family while they wait for their forever home. 💛

🐾 Adopter Support & Lifetime Care 🐾

  • All adopters gain access to our private social media group, where you can connect, ask questions, and share updates.
  • We’re here to support you and your new cat for its entire lifetime—from settling in to ongoing care.
  • If circumstances ever change or the adoption doesn’t work out, we will always welcome the cat back. Your cat’s wellbeing is our priority.

🐾 About Our Cats 🐾

🏡 Home Environment

  • All our cats are indoor (house) cats.
  • Secure outdoor spaces like catios or cat-proofed gardens are welcome.

💛 Temperament & Background

  • Most are ex-feral or naturally nervous.
  • Best suited to quiet homes — not ideal for small children or busy/noisy households.

🐱 Living with Other Cats

  • Most of our cats can live happily with other cats.
  • If a cat needs to be an only pet, this will be clearly stated in their individual description.

🩺 Health & Care

  • All cats are:
    ✔️ Neutered
    ✔️ Vaccinated
    ✔️ Microchipped
    ✔️ Health checked
  • You’ll receive:
📄 A copy of their vet records
🛡️ 4 weeks’ free pet insurance upon adoption
  • Any known health issues are fully disclosed upfront — no surprises.

🐱 Cat Limit Policy

  • We have a “3 cats maximum” rule per property.
  • This helps reduce the risk of stress and behavioural issues — setting everyone up for success from the start.

🏠 Housing Requirements

  • If you rent, we’ll need proof your landlord allows pets.

🐶 Other Pets

  • Most of our cats have never lived with dogs, though there may occasionally be exceptions.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Most of the cats we rescue started life as stray or feral cats which nobody wanted and they were destined to awful lives scratching a living as best they could. Here is a feral adult we trapped in 2016. He went on to be neutered, microchipped and released back to his home territory.

Next steps for some

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Some cats are adults when we trap them and we know would prove hard to tame so these are neutered, ear tipped and released. Some colonies like this one continue to get supported by us as we provide food for them. In return they provide excellent vermin control in their home territory.

The lucky ones

Where the cats come from

Feral kittens like these always end up staying and our aim is to tame them, show them humans are not a bad thing and that they can have a good life as a pet cat rather than an uncertain life as a feral. Its not always easy and the younger trapped the better, but we give as many as we can, a chance.

Then what happens!

If all goes well, the scaredy feral kittens become loving tame cuddly cats and sometimes we get covered in cats all wanting to sit on us. The once scary humans are now just a large cat cushion!

Our ultimate goal

Want to make a difference

One of the cats, contented in her new home. A safe, warm space just for her. No more scavenging in bins, no more worrying about her next meal and very importantly, no more litters of kittens.

Want to make a difference

Want to make a difference

So if you want to give one of our cats a chance, be they an ex feral or a kitten born to a feral mum in captivity so they are brought up tame, get in touch. We may not be able to rehome every single cat we help but we try and make their lives much better from the day we come into their lives.

ALL cats matter, ALL deserve a chance.
