FURTHER INFORMATION

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Most of the cats we rescue started life as stray or feral cats which nobody wanted and they were destined to awful lives scratching a living as best they could. Here is a feral adult we trapped in 2016. He went on to be neutered, microchipped and released back to his home territory.

Next steps for some

Where the cats come from

Where the cats come from

Some cats are adults when we trap them and we know would prove hard to tame so these are neutered, ear tipped and released. Some colonies like this one continue to get supported by us as we provide food for them. In return they provide excellent vermin control in their home territory.

The lucky ones

Where the cats come from

Feral kittens like these always end up staying and our aim is to tame them, show them humans are not a bad thing and that they can have a good life as a pet cat rather than an uncertain life as a feral. Its not always easy and the younger trapped the better, but we give as many as we can, a chance.

Then what happens!

If all goes well, the scaredy feral kittens become loving tame cuddly cats and sometimes we get covered in cats all wanting to sit on us. The once scary humans are now just a large cat cushion!

Our ultimate goal

Want to make a difference

One of the cats, contented in her new home. A safe, warm space just for her. No more scavenging in bins, no more worrying about her next meal and very importantly, no more litters of kittens.

Want to make a difference

Want to make a difference

So if you want to give one of our cats a chance, be they an ex feral or a kitten born to a feral mum in captivity so they are brought up tame, get in touch. We may not be able to rehome every single cat we help but we try and make their lives much better from the day we come into their lives.

ALL cats matter, ALL deserve a chance.
