We cannot recommend this company enough if you live in their catchment area.
Often booked up months in advance as they are so popular and so good.
Tami and Chris are fantastic with all pets and in particular Chris has a way with both dogs and cats and I am sure he is a pet whisperer of some sort.
Tami and Chris are also fosterer carers for Consett Cat Rescue and we are even stricter on fosterers than we are on adopters so believe me we would not use them if they were not good enough.
Search for Crowthers Critter Sitter on Google to find them or go to their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CrowthersCritterSitter
NOTE - they do not do boarding.
You will not get better for your beloved cat than to use Durham Cat Hotel for their holidays.
Run by Linda and her sidekick, Colin, cats receive the very best of care and attention whilst in their residence.
Comprising of just 3 luxury rooms within which you can board your cat, each room has been furnished individually with cats in mind. Yes they really do have their own bedroom and so much more space than you get in a standard cattery.
Durham Cat Hotel is often booked up over a year in advance so you really do have to be quick to reserve your desired dates.
Their popularity is second to none and even if fully booked they can recommend other cat accommodation in the area at places they trust. You can find their website at https://durhamcathotel.co.uk
Bridge End Cat Hotel is a fabulous place set in rural Co Durham near Ebchester.
Run by Alan and his son, Peter they provide second to none care for your cats.
Their pens all meet the standards as determined by the local authority and some pens will even double or triple up into large living spaces if you have several cats. But be warned, those are popular so get booked up quick.
We as a rescue have used Bridge End a few times over the years for both pet cats and rescue cats. They always take very good care of our cats and have no complaints at all.
Pens look out across the Derwent valley and there are plenty of bird feeding stations on show to attract the local birdlife and keep the furry critters entertained whilst on their holidays.
You can find their website at https://www.bridgendcathotel.co.uk
